Abstract Submission Portal

FSR Invites Trainees (Rheumatology Fellows, IM and FM Residents, Medical Students and Undergrads) to Submit their Research Project and Most Interesting Cases for Presentation at the FSR 2026 Annual Meeting.

The Top-Scoring Abstracts (Clinical Cases and Research) will be selected for Oral Presentations on Sunday, July 19, 2026.

Other Accepted Abstracts will be Invited for the Poster Session on Saturday, July 18, 2026.

Fellows-in Training in Rheumatology and others in training (residents, undergraduates, medical students) from across the state are invited to submit abstracts of their original basic or clinical research findings in Rheumatology or interesting case reports.

The top scoring abstracts deemed to be most exceptional will be invited for oral presentations to be judged on site. The top three oral presentation authors will be awarded cash prizes of $1,000 for 1st Place, $500 for Second Place, and $250 for Third Place.

Fellows or trainees selected as presenters for poster or podium presentations will receive complimentary hotel accommodations for two nights (Friday and Saturday). Presenters are expected to attend the educational program and Poster Walk on Saturday, and the program and Oral Poster Presentations on Sunday. We also strongly encourage trainees to attend an industry symposium on Friday or Saturday evening.

Abstract Submission Deadline: April 30, 2026

Notification of abstract acceptance for oral or poster sessions will be made by email by May 15, 2026.

Please adhere to the guidelines provided here for the submission of abstract and poster presentations in order for your submission to be considered.

Abstract/Registration Deadline is April 30, 2026 by midnight.

2026 Industry Poster Presentation

The Florida Society of Rheumatology invites industry researchers, medical science liaisons and others to submit their research for presentation at the FSR 2026 Annual Meeting.

To submit an abstract, please contact Joe at FSR to be connected with your sponsoring organization’s contact.

Upon contract with supporting exhibitor, presenting authors will be sent a link for submitting the abstract.

ABSTRACT POLICY

• To have your abstract and poster presentations considered, please adhere strictly to the submission guidelines outlined in the FSR Abstract Policy .
• Abstract Submission Deadline for Fellows, Residents and Students:  (NO EXCEPTIONS)
• Notification of abstract acceptance for oral or poster sessions will be made by email by May 15, 2026.
  

Requirement for all abstracts accepted for the Poster Walk: 

• Printed on either photo or presentation-weight paper
• Finished size no larger than 3’ high × 4’ wide. (Backboards and Velcro tabs for mounting will be provided.)
• Must be displayed Friday, July 17 through the Fellows Luncheon and Poster Walk on Saturday afternoon, July 18.
• Presenters are encouraged to be present at their poster during the Friday afternoon and Saturday morning breaks in order to engage in discussions about their abstracts with the physician meeting attendees.  

Accommodations*: Fellows or Residents selected as presenters for poster or podium presentations will receive complimentary hotel accommodations for two nights (Friday and Saturday nights). Presenters are expected to attend on Sunday for Oral Poster Presentations and Poster Walk. Fellows or Residents participating in Thursday programming are responsible for arranging their own hotel accommodations for Thursday night.

*Please note industry poster presenters are not eligible for this benefit.

ALL accepted authors will be provided:

• Complimentary registration to the annual meeting.
• Invitation to the Saturday Fellows’ Luncheon.
  
• Invitation to a Fellow Brunch on Sunday morning where cash prizes will be awarded.
  
• Option to attend the Sanctioned dinners on Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights.
