Those eligible for Active membership in this Society shall be physicians engaged in active practice in the State of Florida and who devote either all or the greater part of their practice to the specialty of Rheumatology, and who are Active members of the American College of Rheumatology, or are certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Rheumatology Subsection. Active members will be required to pay dues and will be voting members.
Florida Rheumatology Society Membership Dues Tax Implications: Dues are not deductible as a charitable expense but they may be deductible as a business expense according to the IRS. 100% of your dues were used for direct lobbying expenses and may not be deducted as a business expense. PAC Donations are not deductible as a charitable or business expense.
