FSR Political Committee

What is the FSR PC?

The Florida Society of Rheumatology Political Committee (FSR PC) is a separate, voluntary, non-partisan committee comprised of FSR rheumatologists.

The FSR PC protects you, your practice, and your patients by directing 100% of member contributions to elect physician-friendly candidates to the Florida Legislature and executive offices.

How does the FSR PC identify physician-friendly candidates?

The FSR PC Chair and Board members evaluate several key factors when determining FSR PC-supported candidates, including:

  • Voting records on issues impacting the rheumatology community
  • Recommendations from FSR members
  • Candidate viability and likelihood of running a competitive, successful campaign

Why Should I Contribute to the FSR PC?

The FSR PC relies on your support to elect candidates who understand and advocate for the challenges facing rheumatology practices—and to oppose those who do not.

FSR Board members each commit to a minimum annual contribution of $1,000, demonstrating leadership and commitment to advancing our advocacy efforts.

Your donation is essential to increasing the number of rheumatology-friendly policymakers in Tallahassee.

FSR PC Capitol Club

The FSR Board of Directors established the Capitol Club in 2023 to recognize members who go above and beyond in supporting the FSR PC.

A $1,000+ contribution strengthens our political impact and ensures rheumatologists have a voice in healthcare policy discussions in Tallahassee.
