The Florida Society of Rheumatology is proud to introduce a new, members-only benefit: the FSR Risk Purchasing Group (FSRRPG).  This innovative program leverages the collective strength of FSR members to provide competitive malpractice insurance rates, enhanced claims defense, and greater control over coverage. While variations will exist for the members, early premium quotations from the RPG show savings between 15% to 50% depending on past experience and coverage options.

We are delighted to announce that Medical Protective (MedPro), a Warren Buffett/Berkshire Hathaway company, has been chosen as FSR RPG’s insurer. MedPro is offering us a true partnering opportunity and as one of the largest insurers in the country, they will provide us not just very competitive rates, discounts, and policy enhancements but also the ability to control our rates into the future with a financially sound and secure partner. We have chosen Risk Strategies as our group's insurance administrator and are pleased to have them sharing their previous leadership experiences of creating other very-successful group-purchasing arrangements.

We will not be assuming any additional risk or financial obligation by purchasing together. We are doing this simply to create buying power. In order to qualify for the program, you must be an active member of the FSR. This new program will continue to build upon our portfolio of member benefits and services.
