We discourage splitting data from one study into several abstracts unless the amount of data cannot be condensed into a single abstract.
Abstracts should not be submitted if the following applies:
the abstract has been published or accepted for publication in a print or online journal before the abstract deadline. Publication of the abstract in a scientific journal after the submission deadline is allowed.
the abstract was presented at a scientific meeting more than 12 months prior to FSR 2026.
Abstract Length and Format
4000 characters without spaces
Only the following will count towards the 4000 characters (without spaces):
Abstract title (minimum 15, maximum 150 characters)
Headings and content of the abstract template, structured into the following sections:
The following Characters are not counted, but are part of final abstract:
Author first names, middle initials and last names
Author affiliations
Acknowledgements, including working group
Tables and Figures:
Research Abstract:

A total maximum of any two figures, graphs, images or tables is allowed per abstract, e.g. 1 graph and 1 table, or 2 graphs, or 2 images. Multi-panel figures are allowed.
Abstracts can be re-edited and modified until the submission deadline. After the submission deadline, no changes are allowed.
