Through educational, administrative and legislative efforts, FSR works for the betterment of rheumatology practices and patients in Florida.

Membership dues are $200 annually, Retired pay no dues. PharmD, PhD, and Medical Science Liaisons are not eligible for membership.

FSR Membership is open to:

Active Physician ($200): Physicians engaged in active practice and devote all or a greater part of their practice to the specialty of rheumatology, and members of the ACR or certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Rheumatology Subsection.

Retired Physician ($0): Retired FSR members.

Fellow in Training ($0): Fellow in an accredited rheumatology program in Florida.

Resident Membership ($0): Open to physicians currently enrolled in an accredited residency program in the state of Florida who have an interest in the field of rheumatology.

Medical Student Membership ($0):  Open to Medical Students currently enrolled in a Medical School in the state of Florida.

Associate Health Professionals (PA, ARPN)  ($200): Open to Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants who are duly licensed to practice in the state of Florida, have at least one year experience practicing rheumatology, and are currently working under the auspices of a current FSR member.

Florida Rheumatology Society Membership Dues Tax Implications:

Dues are not deductible as a charitable expense but they may be deductible as a business expense according to the IRS.
100% of your dues were used for direct lobbying expenses and may not be deducted as a business expense.
