The FSR has been asked to share a key advocacy initiative led by USSONAR, focusing on collecting data to highlight the need for increased reimbursement for musculoskeletal (MSK) ultrasound services. USSONAR is conducting a survey of rheumatology providers to better understand current utilization, costs, and reimbursement challenges related to MSK ultrasound. The data collected will help support future advocacy efforts aimed at securing appropriate reimbursement for this important diagnostic tool.
