We are excited to invite FSR members to attend the Florida Society of Rheumatology (FSR) Capitol Day, taking place December 9–11, 2025.

This is a unique opportunity to engage in state-level advocacy and see firsthand how physicians help shape healthcare policy in Florida.

Plan to arrive the evening of December 9th for a welcome dinner at the Governor’s Club. On December 10th, we’ll begin with a review of the day’s agenda before heading to the Capitol to meet with your local state representatives. It will be a full day of meetings, including lunch, and will conclude with a reception and dinner with several lawmakers.

To help prepare for legislator meetings and issues, we will be hosting a Zoom meeting to review all of the issues and materials for the event. A separate registration email will be sent for this virtual meeting after you register for Capitol Day.

This experience is not only educational but also a chance to network with policymakers, giving you valuable insight into the legislative process that affects your practice and patients.

Please note: Travel expenses, including hotel and transportation (auto, Uber/taxi, and airfare), will be reimbursed by FSR. Please note that airfare reimbursement will only cover standard coach, non-refundable tickets. You do not need to reserve a hotel room yourself, FSR staff will handle the reservation once this form is submitted. Because hotel and food costs are paid upfront, please only complete the form if you are 100% committed to attending; otherwise, we risk losing the money spent on the reservation.
