The FSR Leadership is extremely pleased to announce details on the upcoming 2025 FSR Capitol Day in Tallahassee taking place from February 18-20, 2025.  One of our signature events of the year, this is an excellent opportunity for FSR members to engage with elected officials on our legislative priorities.    The FSR does provide travel reimbursement and hotel for participants in accordance with the travel policy listed below.  Please be sure to read through that information before registering for the event.

Travel Reimbursement Policy:

Attendees will be reimbursed for mileage or roundtrip coach airfare. Hotel reservations will be made by the FSR for the dates you selected when you register.  Meals will be provided onsite during the event. FSR will not reimburse private car transportation. Please use Uber or standard taxi services. Reimbursement documents for submission will be distributed to attendees at the conclusion of the event via email.

Event Itinerary:

Tuesday, February 18, 2025:

• Attendees arrive at the AC Hotel Tallahassee Universities at the Capitol (801 S. Gadsden Street, Tallahassee, FL 32301). Check-in for the hotel is set for 3:00PM. You will need a credit card for incidentals. The room night(s) +tax will be covered by the FSR. There is no registration table for check-in for the meeting.
• 6:45 PM: Meeting in the hotel lobby to head to dinner. 
• 7:00 PM: Dinner at the Governor's Club (202 S Adams St, Tallahassee, FL 32301).

Wednesday, February 19, 2025:

• 7:00 AM: AC Hotel – Meeting Room TBD: Breakfast and legislator meeting review.
• 8:00 AM: Legislator meeting begin.
• 11:30 - 1:30 PM: Lunch available at the Governors Club (Balcony) (202 S Adams St, Tallahassee, FL 32301)
• 1:30 PM: Legislator meetings resume.
• 5:30 PM: Legislative Awards Reception – The Terrace, Charlie Park (801 S. Gadsden Street, Tallahassee, FL 32301). 
• 7:00 PM: Attendee Dinner – The Lounge, Charlie Park (801 S. Gadsden Street, Tallahassee, FL 32301).

Thursday, February 20, 2025:

• 7:30 AM: Breakfast buffet available.
• 8:00 AM: Morning legislator meetings for attendees leaving in the afternoon.
• 12:00 PM: Event concludes
